Inviting your team

Only admins can invite new members. You can invite people at any point β€” during setup or after.


Invite by email

Select Invite teammates in the left sidebar. This opens the invite panel from anywhere in the app. You can also get there from Settings > Users.

  • Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

  • Assign a role β€” Admin, Creator, Editor, or Viewer.

  • Send the invitation.

The person receives an email with a link to join. If they don't have a Haiku account yet, they'll be prompted to create one.

You can invite multiple people at once. Each gets their own invitation email.


Invite by link

Every team has a shareable invite link. Send it directly β€” over Slack, email, or wherever your team communicates.

To copy the link, open the invite panel and select Copy next to the link.

Anyone who opens the link can request to join. Admins approve or deny requests.


Pending invitations

Invitations that haven't been accepted yet appear under Pending invites in the Users tab in Settings.

From there you can:

  • Resend. Send the invitation email again if someone missed it.

  • Remove. Cancel the invitation before it's accepted.


What the invitee sees

The invitee gets an email from Haiku with the team name and who invited them. They select the link, sign in or create an account, and land directly in the team workspace.

Once they join, you'll get a notification confirming they're in.
