Account settings

Account settings control your organization's details, its teams, who can administer the account, and single sign-on.

Go to Settings, then select Account.

Available on the Enterprise plan. Account admins only.

Account settings sit above teams. A change here applies to every team in the account. To configure one team, use that team's own settings.

The page has 4 tabs: General, Teams, Users & Permissions, and Integrations.

General

Account information

Your account name, account ID, plan, and creation date. These are read-only. Contact support to change your account name.

Account owners

Everyone who owns the account, with their email addresses. To change this list, contact support.

Auto-join by domain

When this is on, anyone who signs up with your account's email domain joins the account automatically.

Each person who joins this way takes a seat, which counts toward your billing. Turn it off if you want to add people by invitation only.

Allow audio & video recording

When this is on, people are asked to set up their microphone and camera before a recording starts. What they can record still depends on your plan.

AI content generation

Turns AI-assisted creation and editing on or off across the account.

This is the account-level switch.

Each team also needs AI enabled in its own Documents settings, so if AI is unavailable for one team while it's on here, check that team's Documents settings.

Connected teams

A summary of the teams in your account, with a search box and each team's visibility. The Teams tab shows the full list with admins and seat counts.

Critical actions

Delete account permanently deletes the account and all of its data.

This can't be undone. Contact support to close an account.

Teams

Every team in your account, in one list.

Each row shows:

  • Team. The team name.

  • Team admins. Who administers it. A team can have more than one admin, or none.

  • Users. How many people are in the team.

  • Visibility. Public or Private. Anyone in the account can find and join a public team. A private team is visible only to its members.

Select the user count to open the list, then change someone's role, Team admin, Creator, or Viewer, or remove them from the team.

Users & Permissions

Who can administer the account, and who has been invited.

Members

The All tab lists everyone with an account-level role: name, email, role, and the date they joined. Use the search box to find someone.

Account roles

Account roles are separate from team roles.

  • Super admin. Full access to account settings, including every team, account members, and single sign-on.

  • Viewer. Can see account settings without changing them.

Someone with a Viewer account role can still be an admin inside their own team. Account roles control this Settings area. Team roles control what a person can do with haikus.

To change someone's role, select their current role and pick a new one. The change saves from the row.

Invite someone to the account

  1. Select Invite.

  2. Enter their email address.

  3. Select Send Invite.

They get an email with a link to accept. Once they accept, they appear in the members list, and you set their role there.

Pending invites

Invitations that haven't been accepted yet. If the list is empty, everyone you've invited has joined.

Integrations

Identity providers

Connect your identity provider so your team can sign in with your organization's credentials.
