Haiku for WalkMe customers

Haiku is included for WalkMe customers at the highest-tier plan, at no extra charge. Activation is self-serve. You sign up with your work email, accept the Haiku terms, and start capturing.

This article covers eligibility, activation, how accounts and teams work, and what to do when something doesn't go to plan.

What you get

  • Haiku's highest-tier plan, at no extra charge, with no time limit.

  • Up to 300 users in your organization.

  • Unlimited haikus, desktop and browser capture, and export to PDF, Word, Markdown, HTML embed, and SCORM.

  • Automatic team creation by email domain.

Eligibility is tied to your email domain and governed by the Haiku site Terms & Conditions. Those terms are separate from your WalkMe license agreement.

Before you start

You need:

  • A work email on your corporate domain. Haiku uses domain recognition to build your team.

  • Permission to accept the Haiku site Terms & Conditions on behalf of your organization. Enterprise activation requires it, and it applies to accounts with 300 or more users.

  • Chrome, for capture. Edge and desktop capture are supported too.

You do not need a WalkMe Console login. Haiku accounts are separate from WalkMe accounts, including accounts in the EU data center.

Activate Haiku

1. Sign up with your work email.

Go to https://gethaiku.ai/ and sign up. Use your corporate domain, not a personal address. Domain recognition is what puts you on the right team.

2. Accept the Haiku site Terms & Conditions.

These terms cover your use of Haiku. They are separate from your WalkMe license agreement.

3. Let your team build itself.

The first person to sign in from your domain becomes the team admin. Everyone who signs up after that, on the same domain, joins the same team automatically. No invitations required, though you can still send them.

4. Install the Chrome extension.

From the Haiku app, follow the prompt to install the extension. Grant the permissions it asks for. Capture will not work without it.

Haiku captures screen data only while you are recording. Nothing is captured in the background. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure.

5. Invite your team.

As admin, invite colleagues by email, up to 300 users. Anyone on your domain who signs up joins automatically.

6. Create your first haiku.

Capture a workflow, review and edit the steps, then share it by link or export it.

If you're not recognized as a WalkMe customer

Some domains are not matched automatically. Fix it in the app:

  1. Open Plan & Billing.

  2. Submit the activation form to request the highest-tier entitlement for up to 300 users.

  3. Wait for confirmation. You'll be notified once activation is applied to your domain.

Keep using Haiku while you wait. Activation upgrades your existing account.

How accounts and teams work

Haiku accounts are separate from WalkMe accounts. That includes WalkMe accounts in EU data centers. Activating Haiku does not touch your WalkMe production environments or permissions.

Teams are built from email domains. New users land in the correct workspace without setup.

Access is builder-first. Anyone in your organization can capture and share, with no WalkMe Console login.

Past 300 users

The included entitlement covers 300 users, with no time limit. Beyond that, standard Enterprise pricing applies to each additional user:

$1,000/month

Each user beyond the first 300

$20/month

Payment is handled inside Haiku, through Stripe. Current pricing for organizations without a WalkMe license is on the Haiku pricing page.

Roll out to your team

Four things worth doing in the first week.

  • Start with 5 to 10 people across different functions. Validate your workflows and sharing rules before everyone arrives.

  • Set your default share settings. Decide who can view and who can edit before the library fills up.

  • Agree on titles and tags. A short, shared taxonomy keeps the Team Library findable from day 1.

  • Publish the escalation path. In-app chat for how-to questions and bugs. WalkMe Support for account issues.

Common questions

  • We're a WalkMe customer, but we weren't recognized. Open Plan & Pricing and submit the activation form. You'll be notified when the entitlement is applied to your domain.

  • We use several email domains. Domain recognition works per domain. Each domain forms its own team. To bring people together, invite them directly, or contact support to consolidate.

  • We're on WalkMe's EU data center. Does that change anything? No. Haiku accounts are separate from WalkMe accounts, EU data centers included. Activation and entitlement work independently.

  • Can we capture outside Chrome? Yes. Edge and desktop capture are supported.

  • How long does the offer last? There's no time limit. The entitlement stays with your domain, under the Haiku site Terms & Conditions.
