Menu settings

Menu settings control which haikus appear in the Haiku extension menu, and in what order. Go to Settings, then select Menu.

Available on the Enterprise plan.

Add haikus to the menu

  1. Select +.

  2. Pick the haikus you want in the menu. Filter by system or creator, or search by name.

  3. Select Add.

  4. Select Save changes.

Reorder the menu

Drag any entry to move it. Everyone on the team sees this list, in this order, in the extension.

Select Save changes when you're done.

Remove a haiku from the menu

Removing a haiku from the menu doesn't delete it. It stays in your library, and anyone with access can still open it from My haikus or a share link.

Read the list

Each entry shows:

  • Type. How the haiku was captured.

  • Name. The haiku's title, plus a Restricted badge if its visibility blocks it from the menu.

  • System. The app the haiku was captured in.

  • Created by. Who made it.

  • Last updated. When it was last captured or edited.

  • Status. Published or Draft.

Published and Draft

Published means the haiku is live in the extension menu. Draft means it's in this list but your team can't see it yet.

To publish, open the haiku and select Publish at the top right. This pushes your latest changes to the extension menu, so a haiku you've edited since publishing needs publishing again.

Restricted haikus

A haiku that isn't shared with your team shows a Restricted badge and can't be published. Open the haiku, change its access to Team only or Public, then publish it.

What your team sees

The extension has 2 tabs.

  • Team's haikus shows the menu you build here, in the order you set.

  • My haikus shows every haiku the person created. This list isn't affected by menu settings.
