Haiku saves a new version every edit session. You can browse previous versions, preview them, and restore one at any time.

Open version history

Open a haiku and select the Options menu (β‹―) in the top toolbar. Select Version history. A panel slides in from the right showing all saved versions.

Each version shows the version number, who made the edit, and the date and time. The current version is marked with a green dot.

Preview a version

Select any version in the panel to preview it. A banner appears at the top of the haiku showing which version you're viewing.

Restore a version

Hover over a version in the panel and select the Restore button. The selected version becomes the current version.

The version you restored from is still saved in the history. Nothing is permanently lost.
